Do you visit the Venue ahead of the Wedding?
Yes - I always like to visit the venue and have a good look around ahead of the Wedding Day.
Some venues will have a Wedding coordinator whom is always worth consulting about available options for photographs.
The venue is an ideal place for us to meet up to discuss plans for the big day if we can / walk around together - look at the available spots / views that we may like to include in the photographs of the day.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, Gentle Visions Photography is fully insured including Public liability insurance.
Do you have to commit to an Album / Photo book or other display materials up front?
No you don't - I encourage my clients to think about the Wedding in two parts and don't force the decision on display materials upfront ... I can put a package together for you if you wish, its your choice.
1) Before the Wedding:
Select the photographer and photographic style that you want.
I focus more on reportage, taking natural images to capture the story and emotion of the day with minimum fuss and intrusion. Allowing you to relax and enjoy your day.
I can include more set up group shots and portraits as required to suit your desires.
One consideration before is if you are thinking of a book / album or DVD that tells the story of the day, this is worth knowing upfront so we can plan the photograph list / locations upfront... typically it would start with the bride getting ready (not compulsory, many select to do this in private and I can start for example with the groom nervously waiting) and run through the day until the evening reception.
2) After the Wedding:
Sit back relax review the photographs of your day. At this point you can exactly how you'd like to display your treasured memories from your special day.
Prints, albums, photographic books, DVD's, framed prints, canvas et al can all be organised for you.
I can even arrange a Wedding Gift service - where you would pay for me to cover photography on the day and ask your guests to contribute to a beautiful photographic album and or display materials of your choice.
